One of my biggest challenges over the last year was getting motivated to sit down and write posts for this site. I’ve got a list of things I want to write about but with all the other stuff going on in my life, writing always seemed to take a backseat to everything else.
That’s going to change this year.
I’m not a big fan of New Years “resolutions” because I don’t see why you would wait until the start of a new year to do something you want to do. However, I am a fan of spending some time at the end of the year reviewing what I accomplished (and didn’t accomplish) that year and making some plans for the upcoming one.
I do this on a smaller scale every month and quarter, so I don’t see this as a “New Years” thing so much as it’s just when that part of my annual cycle happens. But whatever I call it, this is the time of year that I make plans. And one of the plans I have for 2018 is to give this site a lot more attention. So to kick that off, I’m doing a 30-day blog challenge. In other words, I’m going to write a post a day for the next 30 days.
This post is about the challenge but my plan is to come up with a new idea to write about every day for the rest of the month. It’s not just going to be a bunch of posts saying, “It’s day xx of the challenge, here’s how it’s going.”
I don’t know what I’ll write about at this point, so the topics will likely be all over the map. Hopefully some of them will connect for you.
